When the Rubber Hits the Road

Organized & Hosted by the Insight Meditation Community of Washington.

We’re living in times that deeply challenge our ability to bring the compassion and wisdom we cultivate on the cushion into our everyday lives. How do Buddhist teachings help us examine the perceptions and biases that fuel separation and hatred? What’s the meaning of fierce compassion? Is equanimity even possible when so many are living in trauma, fear, and uncertainty? And how can we care for ourselves, our planet, and each other in ways that align with both our heartfelt beliefs and our individual capacities?

Join these beloved teachers for a weekend of conversation, community, and practice. Each session will be recorded and sent to everyone who registers by the start of the event. This event is offered freely. In the Buddhist spirit of generosity, we encourage you to donate to IMCW, which allows us to continue sharing the teachings with participants around the world.
