SUPPORT MY WORK
I try my best to live in the Gift Economy, and offer all of my work as a gift. This means I never charge anything for people to work with me. Click here to see my finances, as part of my commitment to financial transparency.
So if it gives you joy, please support my work. Your generosity, regardless of the amount, is deeply appreciated.
Remember…
Give the amount that feels right to you.
The invitation is to sit with this question for some time and see what emerges. There is truly no amount that is too small or too large. What amount would make you happy? The more abundance there is, the more I can continue to offer this work as a Gift.
What this work supports.
Your donation will go to support all of the guest teachers for the program, as well as Kazu’s ongoing work. This includes the work to build the Fierce Vulnerability Network, his work with incarcerated people, his time supporting Canticle Farms (the community where he and his family live), his writing and so much more.
Frequently Asked Questions:
-
Sadly not. I have come to believe that the nonprofit structure, and the nonprofit industrial complex that has been created around it, is not the most effective way to create radical transformation. Therefore, after two decades in nonprofit work, I have decided to work for myself.
This means that donations are NOT tax-deductible, however it also means that my work has very little overhead and 100% of your donations will support my life and my work.
-
As an individual, I do not earn a salary. And as someone committed to the Gift Economy, I never charge a fee for my work.
This means that I am often times engaged in work that does not pay, or even costs money out of my pocket. This includes working with incarcerated people and other communities who do not have the capacity to pay.
Your donation ensures that I can continue to offer my work as a gift. It also helps to pay for the time I spend writing, supporting Canticle Farm (the community where I live), building the Fierce Vulnerability Network, and other projects that have little to no income attached to it.

Yes! While in-kind donations are also not tax-deductible, I know that each person has access to gifts, skills, talents and resources way beyond money.
Please reach out to me and let me know what you might have to offer!

Of course! Just let us know in a separate email.
“When giving is done out of pure joy, you can’t tell who the giver is and who the receiver is.”

Ask youself: Who is getting more joy out of this interaction, the child or the ducks?
If you choose to support my work, it is out of this spirit of generosity that I invite you into the Gift.
